It’s true, it always feels good to be listened to, no matter what your age!

I always feel the most listened to when someone is looking me straight in the eyes and I do need to do that more with my kiddos.

Hello Vivian, Thank you for you comments and I think this is a very good idea about the mommy aspect. I’m not a dad or a mom but I know lots of people who have expressed the same sentiments and would love to do something like that. Good point. Sometimes parents just blow their kids off, as if their conversation is insignificant, but everyone needs to feel important and be treated with respect. And giving them full, attention when talking to your kids, teaches them great communication skills, as well as how to treat others with respect.
