Social Media Marketing

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

On this article I want to share my expertise with Twitter.

I like to explore new fields and I was questioning how good is the social advertising and marketing that persons are attempting to do. I learn a guide with tips about how you can improve your twitter expertise and how easy it’s to drive traffic to your website with a brief put up of a hundred and forty characters.

Within the book there was an instance how the writer get 20-30 visits to his website from only one post when he has about a thousand followers. OK… I started to think – if I have 3k followers then I can have 100 guests to my website with only one post.
Sounds great, right?

And here comes the experiment… I am internet developer and I thought I should attempt making a tool that’s twitter-related. Obviously when I attempt to pull visitors from twitter I ought to make a device or share information that is targeted to these users.

So I made a small tool the place you enter your twitter details and it displays a map of your twitter followers. It’s a visual illustration of the locations of the user’s followers.
In this instrument I used the twitter API to drag the checklist of followers and then I put pins on Google.

It is free software and I don’t have something placed on this page to generate leads or any makes an attempt for monetization of the traffic. It is just an experiment for now… so… let’s see the results.
I have more than 2k followers on twitter and I posted 2 updates about this tool. I made these posts in the most active time on twitter. Really that is what I supposed is essentially the most lively time – the evenings in USA, because most of my followers are Americans.

From these 2 posts I have whole of 12 guests to the site. Not a great outcome, but I suppose it may be improved if I’m more lively on twitter. You see… you need to set up connection together with your followers and convey actually valuable (and principally free) information. And you must chat with them extra actively. I love twitter and I discover actually nice data and sources from the post of the twitters I follow. After I love the posting I attempt to thank the poster and build a relationship… I talk about the useful resource shared with him and this is a sort of changing into buddy with this specific user.

When you make lot of pals there probably your outcomes will probably be better.

So attempt to give helpful data, attempt to interact more together with your followers and you’re on the proper path to drive focused traffic to your site.

And just a quick comparability with the other site visitors sources I used:
tweetomatic profiteer – 30 guests in a month;
ViralNetworks (publish within the discussion board) – 20 visits in a month;
LinkedIn (news posting in 2 teams with about 1 mln members) – 18 visits in 2 days;
twitter marketing monetization – 10 visits in 1 week;
Fb (I have less than 200 buddies there) – 7 visits in a month.

I feel LinkedIn performs best from these social sites I tried.

Complete of 133 unique visitors in a month. Not an ideal result, but for the time spent (1 hour to construct the tool and 10-15 minutes to put up on the social sites) I believe it is not bad. When you write an article in 10 minutes and drive this site visitors it’s great. 10 articles in a month and you have one thousand visitors. When you handle to monetize this visitors then… this is the way in which to earn cash on the internet. :-)

Hope you discover my experiment and the outcomes useful.
